Italian wine tasting at Restaurant Casa di David

Italy is one of the largest wine-producing nations in the world, with an enormous variety of wines being produced throughout the country. Every wine has its own distinctive properties. In addition to the grape varieties, the climate, the vineyard’s particular situation, the soil and production method all have an influence on the way wine tastes.

Sunday 26 August provides a perfect opportunity to learn more about the diversity of wines produced in the various regions of Italy. Seventy wines will be uncorked for you to taste, da gustare: red, white, rosé and sparkling, produced from both domestic Italian grapes and grape varieties that are grown all over the world. In combination with an extensive antipasti lunch this will surely be a Sunday afternoon to remember! Tickets for the wine tasting, including the antipasti lunch, are € 35,- per person.

Wine tastings at Casa di David are organised in cooperation with Margaret Wines. This wine shop, located in the historic centre of Utrecht, imports wines from all regions of Italy, from Veneto in the north to the southern tip of Sicily. Most wines are produced by small wineries where there is a passion for wine making and the wine is still produced according to the old traditional methods.

We hope to see you soon at our wine tasting!

Order your tickets for the wine tasting on 26 August 2012 (from 13:00 – 16:00) now!
