Traditional Italian cuisine

We keep the traditions of Italian cookery in high esteem by attaching the highest importance to the quality of our products. Many of the ingredients we use are imported straight from Italy. The products we import directly from Italy include the many wines on our extensive wine list, mozzarella (a key ingredient in many Italian dishes) and the best flour milled in Italy, Caputo, which is the basis of our pizzas. The olive oil used in our kitchen comes straight from our very own olive groves.       

The products we do not import directly from Italy are also subject to strict quality requirements: our ‘Cosciotto di agnello’ (roast leg of lamb) comes from Texel and satisfies a number of sustainability criteria. The fish we use all carries the MSC quality mark.

Italian restaurant Casa di David in Amsterdam is a specialty restaurant where you can enjoy a classic Italian dinner prepared from the finest ingredients, a pizzeria where you can get together with your friends for an informal bite, and a pasta restaurant where you take the entire family to enjoy home-made pasta in a cosy atmosphere.
